Blood test clinics in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble

The blood test clinics at Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital are currently operating on a clinically urgent, appointment only basis as a result of reduced staffing.

The clinics are open from Wednesday 25th November, Monday to Friday, from 08:30am to 12:30pm.

You should only attend one of these hospital clinics for a blood test if your doctor or consultant has instructed you to make an URGENT appointment.

If you are required to visit the hospital clinic for an urgent test then please continue to socially distance from others and wear a face mask whilst at the hospital. Only the patient requiring the blood test should enter the clinic unless assistance is required by a carer or relative for the duration.

If the waiting area is busy then you may be asked to leave and return at another time. This is to help reduce overcrowding and keep you and others safe from any risk of coronavirus infection.

Local NHS staff are working extremely hard to maintain services during this difficult time and the continued cooperation of patients is greatly appreciated.
