Patients with arthritis and/or a musculoskeletal condition can also use COVA - the Covid-19 Virtual Assistant. COVA is a button-based chatbot designed to help people with arthritis get relevant health information relating to COVID-19 quickly. It’s available 24/7, complementing existing services, which have seen an unprecedented increase during the pandemic.

Community support
The local councils have also established dedicated community support hubs to coordinate support and help for those in need:
At-risk groups, needing support with shopping or medicine collection whilst shielding at home due to coronavirus, can still request help from the NHS Volunteer Responders until 31 July 2020 if they register online by 17 July 2020 at: http://nhsvolunteerresponders.org.uk/.
